Charlton Heston

Charlton Heston
A great actor, Charlton Heston, died on April 5th, 2008.

Can you find the connection between Heston and actinomycetes?

(Please leave your answer as a comment to this post. I will do the same).

  1. Is there any connection, indeed? Maybe that some actinomycetes are twisted and Charlton Heston had a twisted mind? ;)
Don't keep us with the mystery too long!

  4. Hello

    Possible answers

The most obvious is in "Ben-Hur" the mother and the sisters are infected with Mycobacterium leprae.

The other is "Soylent green", if I recall corretly, one of the variants ot the SCP (Single Cell Protein) was made with bacteria that eat hidrocarbons. One possible candidate is a member of the genus Nocardia.
